meets in Blessed Sacrament Church across Jackson Blvd. from Canyon Lake
in Rapid City on 4500 Jackson Blvd. The Grand Knight for 2007-2008 is

The third Tuesday of each month at
7:30 PM.
In Room 10, which is just west of the Blessed Sacrament Knights of Columbus Room at the base
of the East Stairway, which is just south of the chapel.

Knights Donate to Black Hills Workshop (August 8, 2006)
Blessed Sacrament Knights of Columbus Council #8844 donated $1,098.00 to the Black Hills Workshop Foundation in June. The Knights raised these funds through their annual Tootsie Roll fund drive, chaired by Ed Hubbeling, Jr. Thank you to all who donated to this worthy fund drive. The Black Hills Workshop is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving adults with disabilities, both developmental and those caused by traumatic brain injury.
Knights Receive Community Service Award from United Blood Services (August 8, 2006)
Blessed Sacrament Knights of Columbus Council #8844 has recently received a Community Service Award from United Blood Services for 2005. During 2005, the Knights conducted five blood drives producing 141 units. The Knights blood drive effort is led by Peter Pelayic, the Council Community Director. The Council has earned this award 12 consecutive years dating back to 1994. Thanks to all in the parish who support this life saving program.
Blessed Sacrament Council was founded in 1984 through the efforts of the Rev.
William Zandri, Arthur Mahoney, R. J. Hengel, John Ellison, Joseph Riss, and
Loren Ward. The Blessed Sacrament Council works closely with the Blessed
Sacrament Parish in Rapid City, providing funds for various projects, members
being active participants in their parish. etc.
Charter date December l, 1984, Rapid City, South Dakota, 57702.
